These flowers were a birthday gift for a high school friend who’s not doing well physically (we’re in our mid-70’s), whose favorite color is yellow. She was very pleased to receive them, and the photo shows beautiful, cheery sunflowers. I didn’t see the delivered product, so I’ll focus this review on Simply Elegant Flowers. Website is easy to use, staff is extremely responsive, friendly, helpful and customer-oriented; delivery is reliable, and variety of flowers and arrangements plentiful. Only small negative and likely just a sign of the inflationary time we’re living through, delivery charge seemed a tad high at $12+, since company is in Smithfield, RI, and my friend lives in Lincoln, RI, right off 146, fairly close by. Still, Simply Elegant Flowers is my go to flower service for the RI area they cover. ---- Florist's Response: Mary, thank you for the review & would like you to know that I have to pay a delivery man that is responsible to deliver the flower arrangements to the recipient & pay for gas.
